Objective of the Operation:
The development of commercial fishing of round goby in the Baltic Sea region through international cooperation, adaptation of production lines, and the manufacturing of high-value products. The project also aims to support the sustainable development of the Baltic fisheries sector and improve the condition of the Baltic Sea ecosystem.

Planned Outcomes of the Operation:

• Development of commercial round goby fishing in the Baltic Sea region by implementing technologies that enable effective harvesting and processing of this invasive species.

• Adaptation of production lines at “Szkuner” Sp. z o.o. to the specific needs of round goby fishing, allowing the production of high-quality products tailored to the requirements of local markets.

• International cooperation with partners from Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Sweden, and Germany aimed at exchanging experiences and best practices in round goby fishing and processing.

• Active participation in the sustainable development of Baltic fisheries, helping to improve the condition of the Baltic Sea ecosystem by reducing the negative impact of invasive species on local fauna and flora.

• Creation of new income sources related to round goby fishing and processing, contributing to increased competitiveness and profitability of “Szkuner” Sp. z o.o.
